Ararat is a community organisation based in Sydney, Australia, made up of two core divisions: Hamazkaine Nairi, our cultural arm, and Homenetmen Ararat, our sports and youth division. Together, we form a united platform for cultural preservation, education, sport, and leadership.
We are proud to serve multiple generations of Armenian Australians, keeping our traditions alive while nurturing tomorrow’s leaders.
Our History
Founded by Armenian immigrants and descendants in Sydney, the Ararat community was built as a place where families could stay connected to their roots. Over the decades, our cultural and sporting programs have become a vital part of Armenian life in Australia
